I am shamelessly forwarding the following which was acquired from 
Monday's ASCD SmartBrief, because I think a number of you could 
integrate the Iditatrod into your upcoming classes. The race begins 
March 4, 2006 and goes until it ends.

Wisconsin high school physical education teacher Terrie Hanke is gearing 
up for her new duties as a teacher-reporter covering the 1,150-mile 
Iditarod dog sled race in Alaska through photos and Web-based reports.
