Who can question the place that Tim Hortons holds in the sense of
shared identity for just about everyone living Canada, when our
forces stationed in Afghanistan successfully petitioned the company
to open a shop in a war zone? In a joint announcement with the
Canadian Forces last week, Tim's said a store will open at the
Kandahar airfield within the next few months.
With that in mind, perhaps the following article from CBC online will
inspire those of you who are currently teaching stats.
Not all rims rrroll up equally
The odds of winning a big prize when you roll up the rim on a cup of
Tim Hortons coffee depend on where you live...

PS. For our friends south of the border, Tim Hortons is essentially
Krispy Kreme.
