NEW SCIENCE LESSON WEBSITE (PRE-K-12)

The Space Foundation has developed a new Web site offering more than
200 science lesson plans organized by grade level-- pre-K-2, 3-5,
6-8, and 9-12. The bank of standards-based lessons is designed to
prepare students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills both on
standardized testing and in daily learning.

Each grade level matrix indicates which science standards are
addressed, gives key words, identifies other content areas integrated
in the lesson, the lesson title and whether it is a unit or individual
lesson. All lessons follow the same format, and include learner
objectives, suggested grade level, subject areas taught, timeline,
background information, materials, step-by-step lesson execution,
extensions, evaluation and resources. Visit the Web site at
