[NAEP] The People VS. Mary Moses

The Eel Ground First Nation School continues to do some outstanding 
work integrating technology throughout the learning experience of 
their students.

As part of a year-long project, grade 7 and 8 students developed a 
play on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome called, The People VS. Mary Moses. The 
play was entered in the 2006 New Brunswick Drama Festival and won the 
following awards:

Outstanding teacher Director
Special Adjudicator's Award for Outstanding Original Script
Special Mention for Originality- Blacklight Puppetry
Special Adjudicator's Award for performance of Challenging Material
Special Adjudicator's Award for Technical Merit
TOP AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING PRODUCTION

On May 30, 2006, the Atlantic First Nations Help Desk and Eel Ground 
First Nations School will hold a one hour videconfernce that includes 
a streaming version of the play and discussion of FAS.

Peter MacDonald, Principal of the school asked me to pass the 
invitation to participate along to all of you.
