Good morning everyone:
As you know, DreamCatching will be held May 2-5, 2007 at the
University of Regina. We're in the process of finalizing workshop
presenters and speakers.
We're pleased to announce that this year's featured speaker will be
Dr. Greg Cajete. Dr. Cajete, a Tewa from Santa Clara Pueblo, New
Mexico, is an educator, artist, and educational consultant. He was
the founding Director of the Institute of American Indian Arts in
Santa Fe, and is currently the Director of
Native American Studies and an Associate Professor in the College of
Education at the University of New Mexico. He is the author of a
number of books focusing on Native education, including Look to the
Mountain - An Ecology of Indigenous Education.
At this time, we are also extending the early bird registration for
the conference to January 31, 2007. To be eligible for early
registration both your registration and conference fee must be
postmarked no later than midnight on January 31, 2007. Registration
can be submitted online at http://www.dream-catching.com.
Best,
Dawn
