Systems

Systems engineers assist and support policy-making, planning, decision-making and associated resource allocation or action deployment. They study the interaction of science, organizations and the environment.

Examples: 

Systems engineers:

  • Work with clients to determine their precise needs
  • Give presentations on and demonstrations of products
  • Provide informal advice on what products might fulfill customer's needs
  • Write formal documents such as proposals
  • Assist salespeople with the creation and execution of an overall sales strategy for an account
